Traditional markets offer a unique shopping experience and a room for social interaction. Markets are preserving cultural heritage but also supporting local economies. They provide a platform for local artisans, farmers, and small businesses. Photographing on markets is a special type of street photography. Vendors are used to tourists photographing their sometimes very colorful displays. To me it is the vendors themselves and their work, which is most interesting.
